Yet another love story with an tragic end due to inhumane acts of members of thier own family!
I had friend from place Ananthpur and been there few times, Its an rural area with most of them having arranged marriage. I always saw men on streets more then women as they were rarely let out of home. Mostly married once they completed thier studies many a times incomplete and were not allowed to work unless married. Coming from an cosmopolitan city like bangalore it was an culture shock for me

Its just so sad and its just not getting any better, any more explainable and people are not being bought to justice to help prevent it happening further.

Sweetchics...it will be good to know when the story comes on for Shammem Ali..its a book that absolutly horrified me, she went through so much. Its better for me to have a reminder the day before it comes on usually!  Thanks for the alert on this.
