So heres a song that I like...

Originally it was performed by Elton John.

Originally it was about Marilyn Manroe . the....actress..Heres a Line..

'Goodbye Norman Jean ,thou I never knew you atall...

Norma Jean was Marilyns proper name...Elton Sang after she died...

Its basically about Marilyn being famous..but because she was sought after by many people ,she was very vunerable...the song descriebs her being like a candle in the wind...because it s easy for a candle to blow out depending on how strongly the wind blows...She died of a suspected drug overdose..but for many years it was suspected there was a conspiracy as she was ahving an affair with Kennedy the American president.

I like the song because it said something about a person who was as human as any of us,  could be as lonely as anyone else out there,and wasn't always in control of her life.... despite her fame and wealth ...

The song is sometimes associated with Diana Spencers funeral...as sang by Elton John ..and he called Diana.....'Englands Rose'...

I thought the song was very relevant to Diana.
